What We Fund

Climate Impact funds the following types of local projects:

  • Local climate education, which emphasizes sustainable solutions

  • Local climate mitigation projects

  • Local climate adaptation projects

  • Film and photographic projects depicting local climate impacts and solutions

  • Projects and education related to biodiversity conservation

  • Art projects or exhibitions with local climate change themes

  • Museum exhibitions featuring climate change impacts and solutions

  • Initiatives connecting people to nature

Level of funding will depend on the initiative.

What We Don’t Fund

  • Any project that questions whether climate change may be real (because we know it is)


Climate Impact Fund acknowledges that the land on which we operate is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. For thousands of years, Indigenous peoples inhabited and cared for this land, and continue to do so today.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land, and by doing so, give our respect to its first inhabitants.
